I'm Bryan. I go by DJ BAEB. Weird spelling, but it's pronounced "babe". It's an acronym for my name...
I grew up listening to 70's Disco and hits from the 80's on my dad's cassette collection. He always played those jams when we went on family trips or whenever he drove us around in his car. I memorized the lyrics and messed with the beats in my head.
When I was in high school, I started having small bbq's with friends and music on my dad's stereo and karaoke system. The guys wanted something better so we invited girls for a change... A kickback turned into a small party. Soon, I had around 100 people from my school at my house for a party that one of my friend's had organized. It blew up from there...and so did my dad's speakers. After messing with 4 stereo systems and my friend's laptop, it was finally time to upgrade my rig.
I upgraded to my own laptop and slowly kept buying equipment and anything that would make the next party better. It took some time, but after a few years I had a system that I could only dream of when I was a kid.
At the same time I was also introduced to the art of video production. I started shooting high school sports games and special events. I began as a second shooter doing bigger shoots and before I knew it went from behind the scenes shoots to directing and editing wedding and company videos.
Today, I run my own production company and throw events and shoot at venues and locations all over Southern California. I've had the opportunity to DJ and shoot content for Cal State Fullerton Athletics, produce and direct commercial content, host and DJ activations for Coca Cola and capture moments that will live through video for a lifetime. I try to tie in my passion for soccer and sports with music and film. I've put on some cool events in and around my community and throughout Southern California that are fun and transcend beyond your typical production.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or you want to get ahold of me for bookings, a quote or collaboration, feel free to ask!
The best thing about being part of events is connecting with the people. Each activation is an opportunity to deliver smiles by sharing that energy that takes the event experience to the next level.
